Agurkas means cucumber in Lithuanian. It was the first word Henrikas taught his friends; simple, odd, and somehow memorable. Over time, it became a running joke, a group tag, a name across projects and platforms. Eventually, it took shape as something more intentional: a production company rooted in shared taste and quiet persistence.

EVERY CUT TELLS A STORY

THE SLICES THAT MAKE IT HAPPEN

A young man with dark hair and facial hair is looking to his left. He is indoors, wearing a black shirt, with a wooden shelf in the background and sunlight creating lens flare effects.

HENRIKAS GENUTIS

FOUNDER

Henrikas Genutis is the founder of Agurkas. Born in Lithuania and based in Chicago, he works as a cinematographer and digital imaging technician, with a focus on detail, tone, and trust. His background spans narrative features, commercials, and the messy in-between, shaped by a belief that good work comes from close collaboration and a clear eye.
